KWZ Contracting, LLC was founded in 2007 as a small painting and building renovation firm, with a focus on residential and commercial renovations. Today, the firm has grown into a full service construction management and general contracting firm with a track record of success throughout Alabama. KWZ’s corporate headquarters is located in Montgomery, Alabama. Its vertical markets include Federal Construction, Industrial Construction, Commercial Construction and Utility Construction. The firm is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business and is a Licensed General Contractor in the state of Alabama. KWZ also has the capability to perform projects in the following states: Alabama, Mississippi and Tennessee.
EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP
Mr. William E. Rumph, III, is the President and CEO of KWZ Contracting and is experienced in many aspects of general contracting and construction. Mr. Rumph started his career in 1987 as a general laborer. He worked in the construction industry for several years in different capacities and later enlisted in the U.S. Army and later the Army National Guard. He had a ten year military career which was cut short by injuries which he suffered while serving our nation in the Gulf War. Upon discharge from the U.S. Army, William continued his service as a civilian by completing a seventeen year career in government service. During his government career he served in numerous management and later executive leadership capacities. He brings his expert knowledge and management capabilities to KWZ Contracting, LLC, which he founded in 2007. KWZ Contracting is known throughout Central Alabama for providing exceptionally high quality construction services. This reputation of excellent construction services has become the company’s trademark and is an instrumental force contributing to KWZ Contracting's rapid growth.
Education:
William E. Rumph, III holds a Bachelors Degree from the University of Alabama, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama; and a Masters Degree from Auburn University, Montgomery, Alabama.
